Aladdin and the Wonderful Genie: A Stunning Highlight of HdM’s Media Night

Students from the Print Media Technologies program at Hochschule der Medien (HdM) in Stuttgart wowed audiences at Media Night with their incredible, innovative project, “Aladdin and the Wonderful Genie.” This modern rendition of the classic tale was developed as part of the “Product Development” course led by the amazing Professor Dr. Volker Jansen.

The project was an amazing showcase of creative storytelling, AI-generated images, and advanced printing techniques working together seamlessly. The students were involved in every step, from writing to final binding, and they showed off their amazing skills and creativity in every one!

The atmosphere at the PMT booth was absolutely amazing! Visitors were treated to an incredible, immersive experience with delicious Arabic coffee, Turkish tea, and dates, all while enjoying the enchanting sounds of oriental music. A photo booth allowed guests to step right into the story and take pictures inside a set designed to look like Agrabah, where everyone felt like they were part of the tale of Aladdin!
The students’ work on “Aladdin and the Wonderful Genie” was a standout attraction.      The vibrant presentation and engaging activities drew significant attention and praise from Media Night attendees, leaving a lasting impression on all who visited!
