Interview With Minh Hang Nguyen
Hi there! I’m Minh Hang Nguyen, and I’m from Vietnam. I began my academic journey in Germany at the age of 14. During my high school years, I concentrated primarily on physics and chemistry, with a deep passion for science. I also took every science subject offered at my school, which further nurtured my curiosity. Given my strong interest in the field of science, pursuing an engineering course was a clear path for me after graduating high school.
I attended an international school where I had the opportunity to learn both English and German simultaneously. By the time I graduated, I could communicate fluently in both languages. However, English was my primary language of instruction, while German was secondary. As a result, I am more confident in English, especially since all my science-related subjects were taught in English.
I consider myself fortunate to have discovered a Bachelor of Engineering program at Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart that is taught in English. This program also offers German language courses, allowing me to continue developing my proficiency in German while pursuing my degree. Studying Print Media Technology has been incredibly fascinating, as it allows me to explore various printing technologies from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
One of the highlights of my studies has been working on printing projects and taking advanced laboratory courses. These experiences allow me to apply my theoretical knowledge to real-world products and observe the entire workflow of printed materials. I strongly believe that these hands-on experiences will help me seamlessly adapt to the professional environment in the future.
